Currently I am building a series of extremly tiny objects (about 6 cm diameter) which are gardens and spots of cropping. They consist of plastic pearls, modeling clay and plexi glass.
Every 3 monthes a new MICROWORLD is displayed in the showcase of the roses bar in the lively oranienstrasse. This fluffy scenery is what you can see until november.
The organizers of the annual techno- event "luft und liebe" ordered a huge piece of 9 meters for their location "funkpark berlin", which is the former home of the gdr-broadcast. I placed my landscape into a double window and the interplay between the bright colours and hilarious forms of the installation with the surrounding dark brown-coloured room with its typicall gdr-tristesse was astonishing.
In July 2009 I took part in the first "international summeracademie autocenter berlin". For several days artists from all over the world worked together and discussed their pieces in the hospitable and relaxed atmosphere of the autocenter gallery. At the end the results were displayed in a group show. I attended the sculpture-class of Marc Bijl, which was really inspiring and we had much fun as well...
On the pictoplasma conference I gave a lecture about my work to an international audience. I explained how it all started out, spoke about its development and showed what I have been working on recently. It took place in the "Haus der Kulturen der Welt" in Berlin.
